About Lisa Marie Tsering

Lisa Marie Tsering is an independent designer and practicing artist in the Twin Cities. Prior to founding her design studio, Lisa was the in-house graphic designer for Jon English Hairspa® and Jon English Products®. For twenty-five years, Jon English® has influenced the fashion and beauty industry while reigning as the salon destination of the Twin Cities. In her position as in-house designer, Lisa produced visual solutions to the communication needs of the company using a mix of creative skills and commercial awareness and was instrumental in building the current brand of the Jon English Hairspa® and Jon English Products®.
Lisa earned undergraduate degrees in Graphic Design and Art from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities and is a member of the Minnesota chapter of AIGA, the professional association for design. She is an Advisory Board member and volunteer for Art Buddies, a program of the non-profit Creatives for Causes. Art Buddies is an after-school program in south Minneapolis which pairs children — one-on-one — with a professional creative mentor to share the joy of creativity and self-expression.
Lisa is married to an aspiring chef and is mom to a train-loving 4 year old boy. On any given day you can find her reading books, magazines and blogs, practicing yoga, exploring with her son, finding treasures at a thrift store, expanding her culinary palate, absorbed in a creative project or taking a moment to savor a simple joy in life.
